BIBLIOGRAFISCHE BESCHREIBUNG: Creating the Identity of the Russian Germans in Literary Discourse = Sozdanie identičnosti rossijskih nemcev v hudožestvennom diskurse / V.B. Merkur′eva // Russkaâ germanistika. Ežegodnik Rossijskogo sojza germanistov. – T. 18. (Literatura, identičnost′ i istoriâ v nemeckoâzyčnom prostranstve. XVIII s″ezd Rossijskogo sojza germanistov. Tver′, 19-21 noâbrâ 2020 g. – M.: Flinta, 2021. – S. 431-443.

The identity of the Russian Germans is based on belonging to a certain
nation, culture and possession of a peculiar language. The last ethnocultural
component — the language of the artistic discourse of the Russian-
German writers is studied by methods of philological and interpretive
analysis. Based on the material of the artistic discourse of Russian Germans
— from the moment of its formation in the 20s of the 20th century to the
present time — the linguistic signs of bilingualism are studied. The main
focus is on the modern essay language in Germany, which was previously
little studied by linguists. Russian German writers have always used the
opportunities that arise from the ability to speak two languages, achieving
the intended artistic effect due to this. Russisms are becoming rare, but
well-thought-out markers in the contemporary artistic discourse of Russian
Germans living in Germany. Their word coining is characterized by the
use of elements of both languages — German and Russian.
